How do You Define Success?

I am not an expert on academia, though I did read a book once. It was a parts catalogue. Very boring! Business schools do a great job teaching business, economics, how to read financial statements, how to bring a product to market, etc. In short, they more or less teach us how to be successful. I would love to see, though impossible to teach, a class defining individual success and if a person is “successful” how to be “happy”.

The Employment Interview

Never ask kids: "How was school?" You will likely get a one word answer: "Fine." I suggest you say: "Tell me about school." The more they talk, the more you learn. The same is true for employment interviews. Put the interviewee at ease and let them do most of the talking. You will learn more about them.
