Many middle class families have been forced to live off of dual incomes due to the rising costs of living and economic slumps. Women are more educated than ever, so they are seeking ways to use the knowledge and experience they have accumulated. Many are seeking an alternative source of income rather than going to the office everyday. One alternative is purchasing a franchise, and it is gaining popularity. A franchise can provide the flexibility, autonomy and income that they desire.

I must admit to having had a bit of a character flaw, one that I have worked hard to overcome: I don’t listen well. I think there were two primary reasons for this: my over-generous self-assessment of my nimble and quick-witted mental prowess and my overpowering sense of urgency. (Microwave popcorn was invented for people like me.)
